A fabulous Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant fashioned in 15ct Yellow Gold and decorated with Pearls, Rubies and two Peridots the largest of which is a lovely emerald cut stone weighing approx. 1ct in the centre.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The piece is a fabulous design with crossed lines in the centre, pretty scrolling motifs either side and a bow crowned on top. It’s in excellent condition and would look beautiful on a gold chain.
